"Future of Sri Lanka: View of Political Next Gen" - a panel discussion organized by the Colombo University MBA Alumni Association was held at the Victorian, Kingsbury Hotel last evening. Co-convenors of #NextGenSL Milinda Rajapaksha (SLPP) and Rasika Jayakody (UNP), Eranga Gunasekera (JVP), Jeevani Kariyawasam, Janagan Vinayagamoorthi (DPF) and Raghu Balachandran (TNA) took part in the panel discussion moderated by Daily FT Editor-in-Chief Nisthar Cassim.

Rasika and Milinda made opening remarks in Sinhala and took questions in English and Sinhala during the Q & A session to ensure the coherence of the discussion as two other speakers on the panel primarily communicated in Sinhala.

During the discussion, the panelists shared their views on a wide range of subjects including the need for campaign financing laws, inclusive policy-making, strengthening national unity and driving reforms promoting transparency, accountability and efficiency in the state sector.
